■ Major Updates

Overview

We are updating the Terms of Service to set out the terms for the Subscription Service, to support the SG Culture Pass scheme in Singapore, and to reflect the discontinuation of Peatix Live. 

Key Terms of Service Updates

  • Subscription Service
    • New Individual Terms of Service for the Subscription Service, consolidating all subscription terms into the Peatix Terms of Service (an Organizer’s own membership rules or terms no longer apply from the update date)
    • Clearer cancellation rules: a cancellation by a Subscriber takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; a cancellation by an Organizer takes effect when the cancellation procedure is completed
    • Organizers must state each plan’s content, fees and billing cycle, and refund and cancellation conditions in the plan description
    • Applies also to plans created and subscriptions formed before the update date, subject to transitional provisions
  • SG Culture Pass (Singapore) 
    • New Individual Terms of Service for SG Culture Pass for Peatix’s participation in the SG Culture Pass scheme administered by the Government of Singapore (MCCY), covering payment with CP Credits, guest checkout, cancellation and refunds, MCCY-mandated reversals, payouts to Listed Programme Organizers, and data sharing and record retention
    • Related provisions added to the General section, the TOS for Consumers, and the TOS for Organizers/Co-organizers
  • Discontinuation of Peatix Live 
    • The Individual Terms of Service for Peatix Live have been removed

Key Privacy Policy Updates

  • New provisions on the information collected, purposes of use, recipients (MCCY, GovTech, and the designated payment service provider), cross-border transfers, retention periods, and the rights of Singapore residents (PDPA) in connection with SG Culture Pass
  • Identification of the entity responsible for managing personal information shared among Peatix group companies
  • Clarification of how we notify you of changes to the Privacy Policy

General Improvements

We have also made updates to improve clarity, consistency, and alignment with current service functionality.
