How to set up:

Using the event page where the live seminar is held

<Things to do before holding a live seminar>

1. Set the date

On the "Basic" page of the event creation page, enter the start date of the live seminar in the "Starts", and enter the end date of the archived video in the "Ends" field.

*Once the event has been published, the date cannot be changed. Be sure to set the correct date when creating the event page.

*When selling paid tickets, payment for the sale will be made within 5 business days of the "Ends" set on this page.

2. Set the URL for the stream

On the "Online" page, enter the URL to be streamed on the day of the live seminar in the "streaming URL" field.

3. Set the Ticket Type

On the "Tickets" page, create two types of tickets: one for participation on the day of the live seminar and one for archived viewing.

*In order to avoid applying for the wrong ticket, please clearly indicate the date of each ticket in the ticket name.

4. Set the ticket sales deadline

By default, ticket sales start "Immediate" and end "Event start time", so please set a deadline for each ticket type.

For details on how to set the ticket sales deadline, please refer to How to set the ticket sales period.

Ex) ①Set the deadline for the sale of tickets for the live seminar as "from immediate to the time the live seminar ends (October 1, 17:00)" and ②Set the deadline for the sale of archived as "from the day after the live seminar ends (October 2, 0:00) to the time the archived viewing ends (October 8, 23:55)":

(1) In the "Advanced settings" change the "Stop all ticket sales" to "2023-10-08 23:55," which is the end date of the archived viewing.

*Before setting the deadline for each individual ticket, it is necessary to set the deadline for the event as a whole.

(2) In the individual ticket settings in ①, change "Sales End" to "2023-10-01 17:00," the end date and time of the live seminar.

*If you wish to end ticket sales before the start of the live seminar, you can also set "2023-10-01 15:00".

(3) In the individual ticket settings in ②, change "Sales Start" to "2023-10-02 0:00," which is the start date of archived viewing.

*Ticket sales deadline does not equal the period during which "Watch Stream page" can be accessed.

After ordering tickets, access to the Watch Stream page will be available indefinitely, so that event attendees who have ordered ① will also be able to view the archives afterwards.

5. Fill in detailed information

Fill in the "Details" page, including the time of the live seminar and whether or not you would like to stream the archived video after the seminar.

<What to do after the live seminar>

1. Edit the streaming URL

If the streaming URL for the live seminar differs from the streaming URL for the archived video, overwrite the URL for the archived video on the "Online" page

For details, please refer to Can I register / change the streaming URL after publishing my event?

2. Edit detailed information

On the "Details" page, add the information that the live seminar has ended and the deadline for streaming the archived video.

*We recommend replacing the cover image with an image that indicates that the on-demand video is being streamed.

Creating a new event page separate from the live seminar

1. Set the date

On the "Basics" page, enter the start date for viewing the archived video in the "Starts" field, and the end date for viewing the archived video in the "Ends" field.

*It will be easier to understand if you specify that the event is an "archived" in the event name.

*The date of the event cannot be changed after the event has been published. Be sure to set the correct date and time when you create the event page.

*When selling paid tickets, payment for the sale will be made within 5 business days of the "Ends" set on the page.

2. Set the URL for streaming

On the "Online" page, Enter the URL of the archived video in the "streaming URL" field.

3. Set the ticket type

On the "Tickets" page, create a ticket to view the archived video.

4. Set the ticket sales deadline

By default, ticket sales end at the "Event start time," so please set the "Stop all ticket sales" to the archive viewing end time in the "Advanced settings".

For details on how to set the ticket sales deadline, please refer to How to set the ticket sales period.

5. Fill in detailed information

On the "Details" page, fill in the streaming period, etc. for the archived video.

*It will be easier to understand if you clearly state that the video is an "on-demand" on the cover image.

Important notice

<About the viewing period>

Attendees can access the Watch Stream page indefinitely. In order to ensure this, access to the video will continue as long as the organizer posts the URL of the archived video in the "Enter streaming URL" section of the "Online" page.

If you wish to set a viewing period, please indicate that period in the event page details and delete the URL of the archived video once the set deadline has passed.

*We recommend that you delete the corresponding URL not only on Peatix, but also on the streaming platform (Zoom or YouTube).

<About Tickets>

You cannot set a stream URL for each ticket. If you wish to use a different stream URL for each ticket type, you must contact attendees directly with the live stream URL/archived stream URL.

For details, please refer to Can I register a different streaming URL per ticket category?
